Oakwood Fire & Safety Solutions Limited can now offer design, supply & installation of fully automatic fire suppression systems specifically designed for vehicles, boats, switch gear and cabinets.
FIRETRACE® is a simple self-activating extinguishant system designed for installation inside enclosures, cabinets and machinery housings to activate automatically and extinguish fires at source. It is ideal for any application where the potential fire risk is located within an enclosed or confined space.
This type of extinguishant system is effective due to the detection tubing that is installed
within the protected equipment which can detect and extinguish a fire in its earliest stages. Special pressurised tubing is positioned over and around the protected area (avoiding surfaces above 80oC). When a fire occurs the tube will soften and burst at its hottest point activating the delivery of extinguishant direct to the source of the fire.
Extinguishing mediums can be matched to suit a particular application.
